I injured my hand slightly but it made me think of Anne Boylen and her slapping St. John Fisher’s face.  It was after his head had been relieved of his body.  Her hand was cut by one of his teeth and legend has it that cut never healed.  Anne Boylen also came to mind with the recent royal wedding as well as all the other heads that ended up rolling on the floor.  I was shocked about the whole Catherine Parr/Sir Thomas Seymour/Queen Elizabeth thing.  But I doubt Anne Boylen had twelve fingers and three breasts.  She was a witty and stylish girl who married her sister’s baby daddy and aided the execution of not only herself but the likes of St. Thomas More is all.  And her ghost. .  well its busy haunting the tower and Hever Castle on Christmas eve.  I hope that they all made peace with each other and themselves in the afterlife but it’s a great song for Friday the 13th.
